The Limit of Wooded Country.
An epic journey by two brothers on the run, set in present day, from the rain forests of southeastern Alaska to the Arctic tundra of the northern coast. After losing their land and killing a forest official, the brothers chart a far northern escape, where they hope to find their father’s much-mythologized gold claim and live in simple prosperity.
But after enduring months of hope and hardship along their journey, and a surprising turn of evil at the hands of one of the brothers, what they find instead – on the furthest edge of the American frontier – is devastation, a ruined family legacy, and a third brother who’s come to save only one of them.
